of compound shaped and molded contiguous form, the classic campana shaped urn with cavetto molded sides enclosing hollow interior with concave neck and flaring circular socle relief, carved with foliate swags centering grotesque and fitted with fully realized seated classical figure handles, raised on baluster shaped support retaining traces of foliate carving, on gently concave acanthus carved platform with carved and molded border, the whole raised on carved paw feet. 17th century Overall dimensions: 20” square x 73” high
