This sophisticated Mid-Century Modern occasional table was created by the illustrious American designer Edward Wormley for Dunbar. It features a geometric hourglass form with multiple stokes of ebonized walnut tapering towards the center where they are fastened around a circular brass support with brass rivets. The shape of this central support is echoed by the circular base realized in ebonized walnut. The top has been forged from starphire glass. This is a stunning example of Mid-Century Modern design by one of the preeminent names of the period. Mint restored condition.
